EssilorLuxottica: Wereldmarktleider in Brillen<\/h2>

EssilorLuxottica is de wereldmarktleider<\/a> op het gebied van brillen. Misschien kent u het bedrijf niet direct, maar wel de merken die het bezit, zoals Ray-Ban, Armani, Burberry en Chanel. EssilorLuxottica was in het nieuws door de overname van het merk Supreme van VF Corporation voor 1,5 miljard dollar in contanten.<\/p>

EssilorLuxottica bezit maar liefst 150 merken en heeft een marktaandeel van 36% in Europa en 47% in Noord-Amerika. Het bedrijf is genoteerd aan de Euronext Parijs en heeft een marktkapitalisatie van ongeveer 85 miljard euro. Het ontstond uit de fusie van een Frans en een Italiaans bedrijf in 2018 en heeft momenteel 149.000 werknemers.<\/p>

De financi\u00eble cijfers van EssilorLuxottica zijn indrukwekkend. De omzet voor dit jaar wordt geschat op 26 miljard euro, en de winst per aandeel<\/a> ligt rond de 7 euro. Met een koers van rond de 200 euro is dat een Koers\/Winst verhouding van rond de 28. Nu is dat wellicht niet heel laag, maar de markt verwacht de komende jaren groei van omzet en winst. Het bedrijf biedt ook een aantrekkelijk dividendrendement van ongeveer 2%.
